Short Term Projects

Master Gardeners are serving their communities throughout Northeast Tennessee. In addition to outdoor gardening projects, NETMGA members participate in a variety short term educational activities.

Some examples include:

Festivals –at Exchange Place, Jonesborough Garden Tours, Tomato Fest and Pepper Fest 

Information Booths - at Farm Expos and Homebuilder Shows

Appalachian Fair Support - Set up and judging of displays

Educational Talks – for local organizations and garden centers

Master Gardener Classes – planning committee, class support, and teaching

Office Help - for Extension Office

Written Articles - for newsletters and local newspapers
